Dr. Saurendra Das has over 33 years clinical medicine and clinical research experience in managing all phases of global and domestic clinical research projects of innovative healthcare products and cutting-edge technology medical devices. He is a start-up specialist who has been involved in setting up 8 major healthcare and research organizations across India.

He also has keen interest in digital health and has worked in healthtech (drug, device and biological) innovation as a bridging interface between doctors, engineers, and IT professionals for creative and innovative healthcare solutions and digitization of data into information and knowledge.

He has the distinction of overseeing the 4 sites which became the first clinical trial sites in India to be inspected by US FDA and of 4 sites which were inspected by EMA.

He has been trained by Harvard Medical International, USA and is a passionate trainer himself. He has successfully trained more than 15,000 investigators, physicians, dentists, CRC’s & CRAs’ and other stakeholders including lab and pharmacy personnel, ethics committee members. He has also been a mentor and faculty at major workshops and conferences in India and abroad. He was the wet lab trainer for an innovative ophthalmic drug delivery system for India, Southeast Asia and Australia. He has trained more than 100 ophthalmologists from India, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Travelled to Australia & Taiwan to conduct similar training programs.
