Mohit Mehrotra was the Founder, CEO and COO of Excel Life Sciences (ELS), a US based, India focused Clinical Research Organization. ELS' clinical operations were in India and it conducted global Phase II and III clinical trials for its customers for US FDA and EMEA submission. Prior to ELS, Mohit was the General Manager, New Product and Platforms for American Express where he led a global client servicing team based out of US, Canada and India. Earlier, he was the Co-Founder and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Workadia. He conceived the idea and spun off Workadia, one of only three companies until then to be spun off by American Express in their 150 year history. Before Workadia, Mohit had been at American Express for over 10 years, most recently as Vice President in American Express’ Interactive Business Development group where he was the founding member and business leader who played a key role in transforming the corporate and retail travel industry from a manual labor intensive operation, to an online, highly automated and efficient environment. As part of this role, he was a key core team member of what is Expedia and Travelocity today.

In addition to board positions, Mohit has advised numerous companies in strategy, operations, product development, funding and M&A activity.
